John NÈVE DE MÉVERGNIES

BERDOUES

En résumé

Je recherche une fonction de manager en Test/Validation/Acceptance/Spécifications/Solution/Pré-vente/Transformation de données/Change/Incident/Problem Management.
Pleine disponibilité (24/7 et voyage vers n'importe quel pays et à n'importe quelle fréquence)
Basé de préférence dans le Sud-ouest (si possible la région de Tarbes), mais tout pays et région sont envisageables.

Ingénieur et économétriste, j'ai une expérience généraliste en informatique, actuellement surtout spécialisé techniquement en bases de données Oracle, scripting Unix, création de prototypes (Delphi et Excel/VBA) et techniques & outils de tests manuels et automatiques (Quality Center 10/11, QTP, TMap-Next).

Ma formation et ma large expérience me permettent d'aisément réaliser la capture de spécifications fonctionelles et de les traduire formellement. Dans le modèle de développement itératif, je reviens alors régulièrement vers le client avec des prototypes pour affiner ses attentes.

Je préfère les environnements multiculturels et internationaux, qui me permettent entre autres de pratiquer les langues suivantes, et d'en apprendre de nouvelles au besoin: anglais, néerlandais, italien, portugais, espagnol, turc, roumain, allemand, grec, russe, suédois.

Je suis très exigeant vis à vis de moi-même et de mes collaborateurs sur la volonté de livrer les produits et services tels qu'attendus. Ceci englobe le service client, la volonté de coopération, la prise en charge de tout incident ou problème, la recherche de qualité tout en gardant le pragmatisme et en gérant les priorités avec bon sens.

J'offre une très large disponibilité (en général 24/7), à la mesure des engagements pris sur les produits et services à livrer.

J'ai créé un prototype de contrôle de tests intégré à QC et suis en train d'en étendre la fonctionalité.

  • No commercial target at this point , - Product Builder

    2018 - maintenant TECHNOLOGY Python 3.5.1
    PROJECT SPECIFIC SKILLS Creativity, logical thinking, analysis, agile SDLC practice, fuzzy logic, artificial intelligence and game theory application.

    DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
    The bridge card game is sharing challenges for the mind with the chess game. It is missing the 2-dimensional space problems, but is otherwise much richer, mainly as being a hidden information and a partnership game, hence dealing with communication and information acquisition as well as friend & foe transmission and psychology.

    The chess game being in fine deterministic, creation of a dominant dedicated robot has been achieved and no much further refinement can be expected in this area in the future. On the other hand, it took more time to build bridge robots of an acceptable level for average players, and expert robots are under constant development but still far away from being able to compete at top level.

    Building a high level bridge robot aims at understanding better the necessary functionality and the thinking process. As a side objective, the product could be deployed as the engine for a Man-Machine Interface.

    * RESPONSIBILITIES
    Providing an E2E working solution, in a phased agile approach, as a 1 person team: Backlog definition, analysis, design, development, testing, releasing.

    MAIN CHALLENGES
    * Concentrating on the engine while providing minimal I/Os to simulate an end-user graphical interface and the various trace levels necessary for debugging and testing.
    * Just in time and stochastic 'main roads' testing, mainly automated.
    * Keeping focus on delivering already useful product after each sprint.
    * Feeding & managing the backlog.
    * Managing the role independence between table master and each of the players, in particular making the difference between public and private knowledge of each of the players.
    * Using at best Python's features.

    * DELIVERIES
    * A powerful deal generator, readily available at this stage, and expandable.
    * A published book in both paper and digital format, available on Amazon.

    PROJECT SPECIFIC SKILLS Product and Releases Test management, processes improvement, test analysts coaching

    DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
    UBS manages its Wealth Management clients through advisors and call agents. Business advisory is operated through a Client Advisor Workbench (CAWB), whereas Client support is operated through IVR complemented by service lines in call centers handling phone calls to general numbers with the help of a Call Agent Workbench (CallAWB). Both Workbenches are linked to hundreds of components providing the required services, i.e. specific information. These 2 workbenches have much in common and follow UBS release cycles implementing new functionality, fixes, and updates on interfaces. There are many such releases a year for each Workbench.

    * RESPONSIBILITIES
    * Managed 2 CAWB releases (partly 1 Major and fully 1 intermediate one) and 6 CallAWB releases (partly 1 Major, fully 1 other Major, partly 1 intermediate, fully 3 other intermediate ones).
    * Test Specification: in particular managing the cost, changes of scope (flexibility is required in terms of changing content and late scope increase or decrease), and quality-wise transformation of the Business Requirements into test cases via Test Ideas.
    * Test Preparation: Creating and making approved an UBS-standard (full or reduced size) Test Plan document with alignment on HP ALM. Idem on Acceptance Readiness gate and Go/NoGo gate. Approved deferment of defects.
    * Coaching test analysts (a team of 3+).
    * Assigning test analysts test specification and execution tasks and organizing the team work.
    * Defect Management
    * Test Closure/ in particular Lessons Learnt towards process improvement and definition of regression set changes (manual and automated).

    MAIN CHALLENGES
    * Exploit legacy test cases, i.e. regression set in terms of assessing coverage, prioritizing and mapping to release size/budget, trimming.
    * Magic: turning red RAG flags into green , particularly for IOC Acceptance Readiness Gateway: identification of issues, proposing and working on remediation.
    * Make team deliver under chaotic environment: keeping spirit high in structuring environment impact on the team, implementing common sense solutions (e.g. dealing with unclear requirements and addressing them at right level) at reasonable priority (postponing the non-critical while in emergency).
    * Performance improvement via strategy to integrate UBS processes and beyond (e.g. Defining Test Ideas and implementing a review process).

    PROJECT SPECIFIC SKILLS
    Test Management, Configuration Management, technical test execution, 3rd line support.

    DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

    iMX is the dunning application used by the client and is continuously upgraded, mainly due to functional improvements and reports requested by the end users. Those RFCs have to be ranked and packaged together with new interfaces added by increasing interactions with other company systems (customer rating, fraud, payment flows, marketing, ...).
    This lead to 4 additional releases.
    Additionally, iMX has had to double its functionality by incorporating Account Receivables that were part of a Legacy system. This required SOX compliance & interfacing with PeopleSoft, Banxafe, Preventel, Speos, Paratel, Isabel 5 (Coda), Ogone. Integration with all these communicating systems required cross-systems E2E testing, in particular with PeopleSoft CRM.

    * RESPONSIBILITIES

    * Configuration management & third party relationship management (SPOC with Codix FR+BG)
