    2010 - 2010 Food packaging manufacturer that makes machinery to produce containers for drinks - (EUR 1.2 million turn over).

    Consultant on financial strategy - The objective of this mission was to understand the production cycle’s impact on the working capital and to produce some reporting tools to better budget the working capital.

    To reach that goal:

    • Interviewed all financial managers and made syntheses for every department (supplier’s accountability, customer’s accountability, production). This first step was a good way to understand the impact of the production organization on the working capital.

    • Drafted a working capital cycle model which related to the actual organisation.

    • Created a reporting tool based on the previous cycle model done. Those tools permitted the financial direction to anticipate the evolution of the working capital by including figures relating to the production and orders.
  • Sociéte générale - Credit Analyst

    PARIS 2010 - 2010 Credit analyst (CAC 40 -capitalization-weighted top companies, represented on the Euronext Paris).

    At the middle office, I was responsible for client's portfolio. I undertook credit risk analysis for 6 leading International companies (communication & advertising, construction, transport services and health industry assets). Managing this EUR 3,3 million turn over portfolio offered me valuable insights into International transactions, allowed me to develop a critical point of view and a good ability to analyse in details financial situation and risk incurred by a bank.
    As a credit analyst I was in charge of:

    • Drafting reports (every trimester) and financial analysis and credit information linked to the economic environment of my client's portfolio. This analysis was based on an account study (analysis of the P&L, balance sheets and Business plan) and specific analysis based on client's engagement (debt structure, guarantee, debt restructuration, covenants...). This analysis was the base of the company’s internal rating.

    • Analysing the new financing projects of the client's portfolio. I analysed every new financing request with a special report presented by the account manager to the risk committee.

    • Analysed company waivers that could not respect their covenants due to new acquisitions.

    • Establishment of the financial engagement and guarantee in IT systems.
  • Capgemini - Project financial controller

    Financial controller, EUC department (Energy, Utilities & Chemicals):
    I was in charge of control and analysis of the deployment of Capgemini's two International projects (consulting, roll out and building IT solution systems). The first mission was for TOTAL and the second one was for GAZ DE FRANCE. All of them were developed in the same time and in different countries. As a financial controller, my main objective was to draft monthly financial statements for these projects in each country. In order to have a clear vision of the financial statement I had to:

    • Create and update reporting tools. The specification of these missions made it impossible to use standard way of reporting. I had to work with different managers to develop a new reporting system.

    • Consolidation of these reports in order to have a global vision of the project.

    • Financial follow-up of the projects. Every month, I collected all information from different ways (IT system, cost controllers, managers) and implemented them in the reporting tools I made.

    • Analysed project figures and ratios - Budget (budget estimation, forecast, and cost engagement). During the project meeting I presented the financial situation figures and suggested improvement strategies to the project manager.
