  PARIS 2012 - 2014 Description : RBS has implemented an SAP corporate savings system, known as a deposits liquidity engine, which is used by corporates to hold capital. This is a module in SAP’s banking services platform, which RBS is now plugged into.
  • Created various info providers like Infocubes, DSO, Multi providers ,Infoset etc

  Description : CITI BANK has most of its production jobs running in mainframe. As a part of maintainance of the system requires few changes in front end CICS which requires few code changes in COBOL programs as well. This code changes are made in programs and the jobs are scheduled in the test unit testing environment in OPCT. As a part of maintaince team schedule this jobs in the OPCT and promote the jobs to SIT and then check the batch progess time and conduct a Postmortem call with different teams to improvize the batch run and suggest a better solution for batch run. Once the SIT run is successful then the batch is moved to UAT and then the batch status is checked once succesful with appropriate end time the batch is moved to production.
  • Worked with different teams in providing a better solution for providing a permanent resolution for the failure in batch.
  • Schedule jobs in OPCT. Promote and demote packages in Changeman.
  • Fix the failures within appropriate timing without causing any delay to batch run.

  Description : TESCO is one of the biggest retail industry in United Kingdom. They are well known for their supply chain management. I was working in TESCO for the Supply chain management. The systems such as Sales and distribution is completely automated in TESCO through Mainframe jobs. The mainframe jobs running overnight creates the distribution cycle for the next day based on the stocks sold at the end of the day. This is a very critical system as in case of any delay in the overnight batch the entire next day distribution might get disturbed. There are daily, weekly and monthly batches . The monthly and yearly run are required for book closures at business end. Both the online and batch functionality is written in COBOL / CICS .
  The fuel systems of TESCO is separate system as the Fuels can't be stored. This system also has batches running daily, weekly and monthly. . The monthly and yearly run are required for book closures at business end. Both the online and batch functionality is written in COBOL / OBJECTSTAR.
  • Worked on Development/ Enhancement with production support activities through complete SDLC cycle as a complete application support.
  • Worked on various tools/applications like Endevor, TELON, CA7, TESCO incident and Change management System, Perigrine , File Aid, Platinum, COMPAREX, NDM, Spufi etc.
  • Coded various CICS – Cobol programs using BMS map screen.
