    Created under the impetus of Olivier Verbeke (CEO) and Antoine Perdaens (COO), Whatever is using innovative collaborative technologies to address the growing needs of sharing and managing knowledge at enterprise level.
  • Telenet - Executive Vice President - Residential Market Division

    2004 - 2007 Telenet is a cable operator based in Mechelen, Flanders, where I was Executive Vice-President of the Residential Market Division, serving approx. 2 million unique customers for services like Internet, Telephony, Mobile, Digital Television, PayTV and eBusiness, with 700 employees generating a turnover of over €700M with an EBITDA margin of 45%. Main achievements were the launch of iDTV with >10% penetration after 1 year and an increase in Telephony and Internet market shares to respectively 23% and 55%.
  • Belgacom - Executive Vice President - Consumer & Business Division

    Bruxelles 2003 - 2004 - Executive Vice-President of Belgacom’s fixed line division between 2003 and august 2004, in charge of the Consumer & Business Customers division, responsible for 2800 employees generating a turnover of € 1.700M. Main achievement was the launch of a massive Winback program which resulted in the return of >100.000 customers to Belgacom for fixed telephony services.
  • Belgacom Skynet - CEO

    1998 - 2003 - CEO of Belgacom Skynet from 98 until 2003 : Managed to fully exploit Group synergies while creating a strong company culture. By 2002, Skynet had become the most profitable ISP in Europe with strong market leadership in both consumer and business markets, and a strong potential in Portal activities. Access activities were integrated in Belgacom in 2003, ahead of other European incumbents.
    - CEO of Infosources between 1999 and 2000, a french ISP listed on the French stock market, after a reverse take-over with Skynet. French activities were sold to Tiscali in 2000 and the company delisted after it became apparent that the external growth ambitions could not be realized.
  • Apple Computer - Directeur Général

    PARIS 1990 - 1998 Occupied various positions in Marketing (SME at Benelux level, Large Accounts, Education market), Sales (indirect sales management, direct sales to Education sector). Ended-up as General Manager for Belgium and Luxemburg, in charge of 18 people (after several restructurings), generating a turnover of €75 million in one of the most succesful countries for Apple Europe in terms of marketshare. Main achievement was the launch of an ACOT site in Belgium, a US based Education program, which led to the sale of 10.000 Macintosh computers to the Education ministry, the largest deal Apple had booked in years in Europe.
  • Andersen Consulting (Accenture) - Management Consultant

    Minsk 1989 - 1990 Main missions : Operational audit, information plan, system analysis and localisation of an ERP system.
  • Unisys Europe-Africa division in London, UK. - Stagiaire

    1987 - 1988 AIESEC traineeship : selection and implementation of a Project Management System to be used in the IT department. Analysis and Programming in Mapper (4GL).
