En résumé

Ingénieur en bâtiment, diplômé de l’ESTP en septembre 2014, j’ai décidé de consacrer cette année à vivre une expérience professionnelle et personnelle en Nouvelle-Zélande. Après avoir découvert le chantier en tant que conducteur de travaux et ingénieur méthodes lors de mes stages en France, je continue aujourd’hui à acquérir des connaissances en tant qu’ouvrier du gros œuvre dans un milieu anglophone. Je suis à la recherche d’un CDI dans la région lyonnaise pour un poste d’ingénieur travaux à partir de septembre 2015.

    Project: Improvements of working methods to use 4D technology

    I was in charge to develop a 4D method for the ``Planning and Organization Department''. The 4D is the technology which allows to display easily the progress of the operations uses 3D elements and made them match to those of a schedule. Its main advantage is a saving of time in the production of phasings during the evolution of the project. However, the current structure of contractors is inadequate to run these technologies in an optimal way. At first, it was necessary to consider what the best tool of production 4D was and to understand its functioning. It allowed to encircle the problems of interfaces between a 3D model and a schedule: a common comprehensive list must be organized upstream, specific properties to the schedule must be sometimes added to the model to identify the 3D objects. If this work is set up, the 3D sets will be effective and the work on the 4D software easy. The auto matching will be also possible, what establishes a purpose in the use of the tool.
    Project: Extension of the Carré Sénart shopping mall (150M EUR )

    This project consisted of an extension of a shopping mall which had been built in 2002. However, the mall should stay open during the Works. Our mission was to plan interventions by phasing works. One of the main issues was to conserve at least 1,500 carparks free at every time. But it was hard and very long for us to count how many carparks were impacted knowing the schedule is often changed. So, I created an Excel file which has permitted to save a lot of boring work time.

    Project: Renovation of the New York University building in Paris (6.5M EUR )

    I did my internship at the end of the second year in the Paris Renovation entity of Léon Grosse Company, on the site of the building Eyrolles, based at 55 boulevard Saint- Germain in Paris. This workshop was held from 27 May to 23 August 2013. Following the move of the ESTP, Mr. Eyrolles, building owner, decided to rent part of the premises at New York University, and dedicate the other part for Eyrolles Editions. The occupants have both decided to renovate their premises at that time. These works were especially intended to restore the building to the new norms, to create stairwells and elevators and finally to rearrange the premises. At first, my mission was to assist one of the foremen on New York University floors, then to stand in for him the last two weeks while he has been on vacation. More specifically, I ensured the smooth progress of the installation of partitions, HVAC systems and plumbing, interior wood and metal joinery (doors, windows opening cranks), the frames of suspended ceilings. In addition, I was asked to draw partitions and suspended ceilings plans on Autocad. Finally, I had the opportunity to manage a team of Léon Grosse workers and to submit a Request for Proposal to select the blinds installer. This project, which started in January 2013, was to be delivered in November 2013, but after a few delays, it was completed in January 2014.
