  • CEREPLAST - SALES & MARKETING DIRECTOR Europe

    2008 - 2012 Cereplast is a designer/manufacturer based in California and Indiana with sales office in Europe, India, and
    South America. They develop sustainable polymers with starch content for replacement of common
    polymers. PP,PS,PE, PET...


    Our first mission was to build our distribution network, to cover European market. We were
    successful to pen several countries (Italy, Spain, France, Turkey, India, Germany, Croatia...) and
    came from 500 000$ annual turnover in 2009 to 24 M$ in 2011. My tasks were also to adjust US
    certifications to European market (REACH, FDA, BPI, Din Certco, OK Compost...) and in the
    meantime to build partnership with European chemical companies to increase the technical
    properties of our resins (DOW, DSM, ALBIS...). Managing 9 people (technicians, sales people...)
    I was also in charge of the training of the commercial team of our distributors. Also, we received
    an Award for the first bio based printed metalized film! Great successful experience!

  • Biomind SA - PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

    2006 - 2008 In this start up, I brought my knowledge on 2 projects: develop a bio based catering range and to launch the
    first Biodegradable can. I realized and participated in various missions including the writing of a « Private
    Offering Memorandum » for fundraising. My main tasks were : development of industrial partnerships, building
    the web site, developing the Product catalog, liflets (packing list, price List) building leads data base, direct
    marketing from Trade shows, public relations with « Green organizations » (ex : Fonds Français pour la
    Nature et l'Environnement). Unfortunately, after 2 years, they decided to relocate the Head quarter in the US
    and closed Geneva office
  • VIMAT SA - PURCHASING MANAGER

    2001 - 2006 Coming from Packaging fields, Vimat employed me to create and develop the first compostable catering
    rage in Switzerland. The new regulations, at that time, forced the people to use in Geneva county, only
    compostable catering for all outside manifestation. Linked to the city hall we found all industrial partners
    to produce and sell those items.

    Beside this, I was in charge of 4 people to optimize the cost for all regular purchases concerning Vimat's
    activity: we were the main supplier for all movies theaters in Switzerland (packaging: cups, tubes, pots,
    cutlery, and bags). We were also the biggest importer on Swiss market for corn and food oil.

    * Negotiation, contracting for following food & beverage items: corn, drinks, sweet, candies, sugar,
    cakes, biscuits, Mexican food...
    * Management of a 2000 m2 of ware house ;
    * Budgeting, staffing for drivers and workers for storage and delivery all over Switzerland
    * Handling all special printing for cups, plates, boxes for all big cinema s brand
    * Responsible for visiting all food & beverage trade show all over the world to negotiate with actual
    suppliers and find new products/concepts
    * Manage our after sale department for all parties machines we were renting and selling (pop corn
    machin, hotdog, candies...) budget and purchase of all spare parts for our stock and urgent cases.
