    2014 - 2016 While I initially joined to take care of corporate and business development with the goal to strongly develop this 12-year old firm while holding 34% of the equity I was invited by the two co-owners to take the leadership of the company.
    45-people all based in Luxembourg. Major to focus on technological revamp and turn into industry average profitability. 60% growth planned over 2014 & 2015. On track to meet initial objectives by end of the year 2015.
  • BAESystems ( Applied Intelligence Division ) - General Manager Europe

    2011 - 2014 * General Manager Europe, BAES Detica NetReveal
    was acquired by BAESystems and merge with the Detica NetReveal division. I was asked to expand my role as previously at Norkom by adding Non-Financial Services sector (mainly Government Public bodies).
    Objective is to replicate and expand further he success achieved in the Compliance arena to Fraud and Risks domain. I have a P&L responsibility for the region and sales, pre-sales and delivery report into me directly.
    Approximately 70 people in total.
  • Norkom Technologies ( acquired by BAESystems ) - General Manager Europe

    2008 - 2011 I was hired to lead and develop the Continental European business of Norkom and, as a member of the executive management team, to contribute to the corporate development of Norkom Plc. Several key corporate initiatives originated in some of my past experiences in previous organizations and were successfully replicated at Norkom.
    Norkom Europe grew by 50% over the first 2 fiscal periods (2008-2009) to reach EUR 15m during the most difficult economic times since WWII. This could happen by putting the customer back at the centre of each stakeholder's focus and by strengthening the delivery teams through the recruitment of seasoned middle-management layer.

    Acquired 70% of the Top Tier 1 European Financial Institutions Banks & Insurance cies )) across Europe and in each major country.

    Initiated and lead the decentralization of European sales and delivery centres from one single office in 2009 to four offices by the end of June 2012. Therefore increasing proximity with customers and thus satisfaction as well as lowering financial barrier to entry to low labour cost countries.

    Europe was also the first region which has utilized near-shore delivery centre set up in Poznan (PL) in large delivery projects. Project profitability has therefore been above the company average for 4 years in a row.
  • Thomson Reuters - Business Development Manager

    Paris 2007 - 2008 Reuters acquired Application Networks in 2006, and more specifically the award-winning risk management suite called Jrisk. My interim mission was to promote the sale of Jrisk across EMEA, UK & Latin America as well as creating value propositions adapted to the specifics of each regional market and industry segment.

    Main challenge for Reuters Trade & Risk Management leadership is to equip the existing sales force with the right skills and attitude to get out of comfort zone and sell a completely new value proposition into new territories, segments, industries.

    JRisk Programme started in January 2007 at Reuters. Regional target was GBP 7m for 2007.

    1999 - 2007 FRS is the market leader software provider in regulatory, compliance and risk measurement.

    Ensure remarkable revenue and profit growth while transforming business model from upfront license revenue to recurring model.
    220 employees spread across the 13 direct offices including 50 employees in our offshore operations in Pune, India.
    Includes R&D organization ( 90 employees including Support function ) as well as Sales & Marketing, Channels & Professional Services organizations and G&A departments ( HR, IT, Finance & Legal ).

    Acquired a company in the United States to complete Risk solutions offering. Providus (product is RiskResolve - SOX & Operation Risk Management) is used by 15 FI's in North America. 22 employees transitioned in our Boston office.

    Recruited strong & talented executives to FRS as well as key addition to sales force.

    Sold the business unit on behalf of S1 Corporation to a private equity consortium (Carlyle and Kennet Partners) for over $35m in August 2006 after 18 months of sale and conducting many due diligence processes with various interested parties from the Private Equity world as well as commercial companies.
