    -- Climate chamber testing -- OWI-lab invested in an independent test facility for extreme temperature testing of large and heavy wind turbine components (-60°C to +60°C, 10,6m x 7m x 8m, weight capability: > 150 ton or 45ton/m²). This facility can also be used to test al sorts of heavy industrial equipment (off-highway vehicles, agricultural vehicles, construction and mining equipment, aerospace components and systems, ...) OWI-lab: The ‘Offshore Wind Infrastructure Application Lab’ (OWI-Lab) is a R&D initiative which aims to initiate and support innovation projects concerning offshore wind energy. The project itself aims to increase the reliability and efficiency of offshore wind farms by investing in testing and monitoring equipment that can help the industry in reaching these goals.
