    2015 - maintenant Oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of the requirements of the EU CSD Regulation. The project entails a number of IT, (banking) operations and risk / control / governance / financial workstreams, some of which will be delivered at Group level.

  • Partena Promeris - Demand Manager and Head of Policies, Methodologies & Practices

    2014 - 2015 Managed the Demand & Analysis Team comprising Business and Functional Analysts (5 FTE).
    Identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance operations and drive the maturity of the newly-merged IT organisation between Euromut and Partena, including the introduction of PRINCE2 and ITIL best practice.

    Key achievements
    • Implemented a demand management process from capture to IT execution.
    • Facilitated the creation of a Business & IT Project Managers community with an associated PRINCE2 based toolkit.

    2013 - 2013 Managed the day-to-day operations of the IT Development, Helpdesk and System Engineering teams. Facilitated their development via the creation and introduction of best practices, standards and methodologies in demand, capacity, project and portfolio management

    • Project managed the migration of ~800 PCs to Windows 7 with no disruption to business operations.
    • Renewed HQ LAN (core and floor switches) and implemented Wi-Fi.

Championed continuous improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Solutions Delivery function; recording learnings from client projects, mapping robust solution delivery processes, recording best practices and creating templates to maximise efficiency and scalability.

    Paris 2007 - 2011 Coordinated IT operations within the Belgian Bank offices: Brussels, Breda, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Milan and UK offices; led, motivated and provided strategic direction to the International Application Development Team supporting and maintaining an applications portfolio used by +5,000 users worldwide.

    Key achievements
    • IT Coordinator for the creation of the BNY Mellon Belgian Bank entity.
    • Implemented a software quality control tool in the offshoring context to ensure cost efficiency, secure time to market, enable management and reporting and maintained best possible levels of user satisfaction.
    • Applied CCMI Software Development Life Cycle and implemented HP PPM in the Brussels team.
    • Migrated the entire application platform from the Belgium Data Centre to a new infrastructure in US.
    • Optimised date centre usage by strengthening the use of virtualisation and NAS technology.

    1996 - 2007 Enjoyed 11 years’ rapid progression within this American multinational banking and financial services corporation; led an IT team of +30 in the management of application development and infrastructure support; created an offshore team in India to supplement local efforts; played an integral role managing business-critical projects from inception to completion, including applications development, systems migration, data centre development, and implemented a Business Objects / Sybase IQ Business Intelligence Platform containing 20 years of Asset Servicing Business elements.
