Support Division of Toyota Purchasing. Heavily involved in Annual Cost reduction and Material claim reporting and in the administration of cost planning, editing of purchasing procedure, organisation of supplier events and Toyota European Supplier Association. Project leader of B0 service parts.

Feb00 – Apr 04 ‘Buyer’ in the Electrical section. Various commodities held.
The position includes leading sourcing activity and value engineering meetings. Cost analysis, price negotiation, supplier audit, simultaneous engineering studies, global purchasing and technology benchmark are the main driving activities of the position.
On top of these activities, I am strongly involved in pre-sourcing activities and competitors benchmark.
I have been awarded “Toyota Global Ve idea of the year 2001”.

Stock control and management of the Vlissingen refinery aromatic products and European warehouses. Optimisation of the freight according to barge and chemical tankers, pipe-lines and tankrail market rate. Invoicing and insurance claim management. Commercial contacts among traders, shippers, surveyors and clients.

I completed a six month placement as a ‘Logistic Export Manager Assistant’. I was responsible for the control of the plant ordering process, the customs and legal work, the containers shipping and the invoicing processes for the African subsidiaries. Moreover, I undertook the renewal of the ‘Logistic Export’ department AFAQ quality procedures.

As part of the Quality department, I documented the company’s business processes to achieve the completion of the ISO 9000 and BS 7799 standards. I was strongly involved in the improvement of the company’s corporate image: conception of various surveys (company and customer orientation) and organisation of Forum/Meetings to feed the information collected back to the appropriate departments.
