Silvia Palkova
Ingénieur conception produits/ Cherche poste en R&D winter sports
I have obtained Master 2nd Degree at Conception and Development of Sport Equipment. Generally speaking, most of University lecturers were very well educated, highly skilled and widely respected professionals from leading companies such as Eider, Rossignol, or Titicaca Skis Ltd, Salomon, CTC test centre...and also our professors were highly specialized in biomechanics, physiology, neurology... they are themselves searchers and work for different companies.
The above mentioned qualification was aimed on highly valued training sessions which have gave me the opportunity to become one of the following:
R&D Project Manager,
Technical Engineer of Ergonomics
Test centre Operations Manager
The qualification also allowed me to realize one of my internships in Austria at the R&D office of one of the famous companies, Atomic. I have had the chance to work on different snowboard and ski projects and have acquired additional skills in winter sport industry also everything concerning production process in factory. To complete my knowledge about human-material interface, the base of the sports equipment, conception, my first internship was a research work about Vlink sensors for French Federation of ski.
Also, I’d like to mention that during winter I am snowboard instructor which helps to be closer to my passion and be in the mountains shredding all secret spots unknown by human being. This job helped me to understand what people expect from the snowboarding and also permitted me to meet some really good riders. I need to say without pretention that snowboarding drives my life, it’s more than a passion it’s a lifestyle for me. So, I spent this winter season as a saisonier in Val Cenis, French Alps, that allows me to enjoy snowboarding in every aspect. I was living my passion and brought it to the next level.
