Pierre is a policy analysis and evaluation consultant in the field of Innovation and Competitiveness. He specializes in designing and implementing evaluation studies of Research, Technology Development and Innovation policies and programmes. He has been involved in evaluation and monitoring projects at the local, national and European levels. Pierre also works on benchmarking, monitoring, governance projects as well as impact assessment and strategy development.
Before obtaining a Master 2 degree in Evaluation and monitoring of public policies (Institute of Political Studies, Lyon-France), Pierre achieved a Master 1 degree in the frame of a bilateral cooperation between the Lyon 2 University and the University of Montreal (Montreal-Canada) where is specialized in governance and public action. He completed internships related to European programmes and policy analysis, both in the public and private sectors.
Pierre is currently contributing to several papers dealing with RTDI policy evaluation, theory-based evaluation and contribution analysis as well as learning in the policy cycle.
