Sustainability Energy Manager
I am an engineer with 8 years’ experience in Belgium, England, Florida and France. By working as environmental and energy manager inside international and multidisciplinary teams I have developed a strong collaborative leadership.
Since 2009 I am the coordinator of Climate Change energy efficiency programme for the 16 sites of GSK Vaccines in Europe, North America and Asia. Part of my job includes the tracking and reporting of the programme operating budget, the production Key Performance Indicators for the corporate, site directors and local managers. I am also involved in different energy saving projects, and the creation and development of a benchmark to evaluate our water and carbon footprint.
- GlaxoSmithKline Vaccines (2009 - Present): Coordinator of the Climate Change Energy Reduction Programme for the 16 sites of GSK Vaccines in Europe, North America and Asia. The annual objective is 5% net CO2 emissions reduction which is part of a very ambitious sustainability strategy including objectives for renewable energy, water saving and environmental stewardships.
- Walloon Region (2010-2011): Project manager to carry-out the environmental impact study of the 4 river basin district management plan in Wallonia.
- Quick-scan of 100 federal public buildings to analyse the current situation and report on the feasibility of energy-saving measures to decision-makers.
- Environmental impact study and preparation of environmental permit request.
2007 - 2008Developed a good understanding of the Water Framework Directive and Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive through:
- Significant Water Managment Issues
- River basin Management Plans process
- EQS: phosphorus, heavy metals, Priority Susbtances
- Endocrine disrupters compounds current researches.

Publications of 2 scientific papers.
2005 - 2007Interdisciplinary approach to limit the adhesion of algae and barnacles on the hull of ships with new antifouling coatings. The research was funded by the U.S. Navy and included:
- Development of new high-throughput screening methods to assess performances of antifouling coatings;
- Ecophysiology of algae and toxicity assay;
- Collaboration with different groups and industries;
- Statistic analysis, data assessment;
- Writing reports, communication, project management; and
Publications of 5 scientific papers and participation to international conferences.
2004 - 2004Comparative study of commercial antifouling coatings to select the future marine paints for the U.S. Navy. The project required:
- Method development including field tests in the Indian River Lagoon and laboratory tests;
- Environmental monitoring and water testing ;
- Project business proposal;
- Creation of work agreements between laboratories for the project; and
Publications of 2 scientific papers.

2003 - 2003- Study sponsored by the OECD to investigate the presence and impact of estrogenic pollution in French rivers (endocrine disrupters).
- Development of a new immunochemical method to measure the biomarker vitellogénine on fish from river Saone.
