- Analysis of ultrasonic techniques allowing to measure the clamping load of bolted joints

# Collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institut for non-destructive testing of Saarbrücken (Fraunhofer IZFP Saarbrücken) and several departments of Airbus

- Creation of destructive and non-destructive compression tests for hip prosthesis heads (zirconia toughened alumina):

Designing of a specific compression system, choice of the materials, establishment of a protocol for routine compression tests, contact with suppliers and subcontractors

- Follow-up of the production, Cartography of the temperatures in the sintering oven, quality follow-up

July 2006:

- Creation of a preventive maintenance programme for plant machinery
- Participation in the "Carbon Trust energy saving project" (support for the choice and integration of new generation motors)
